IT Specialist (Operating Systems)

Seeking a skilled IT Specialist (Operating Systems) to contribute to our dynamic environment. This role focuses on advanced technical analysis, documentation, and innovative research.

• *Key Responsibilities:**
• Conduct ongoing analysis and feasibility evaluations of software/hardware proposals, trends, and concepts within agency environments.
• Prepare comprehensive technical manuals, including software/hardware specifications, installation standards, and application program setup requirements.
• Lead and extend research into advanced computer applications, system design concepts, and interactive control schemes, particularly where precedents are non-existent.
• *Qualifications:**
• Minimum one year of specialized experience (equivalent to GS-13 level) directly related to IT Specialist (Operating Systems) or a closely related field.
• Demonstrated expertise in software/hardware analysis, technical documentation, and advanced systems research.
• Creditable experience includes paid, unpaid, and volunteer work.
