IT Specialist (Infosec/Network)

This role requires an experienced IT professional to manage and secure critical global network infrastructure, ensuring high availability and reliability for strategic operations.

• *Key Responsibilities:**
• **Network & Infrastructure Management:** Plan, implement, and maintain secure global networks and critical IT infrastructure.
• **Security & Reliability:** Ensure the availability, reliability, and security of communication capabilities vital for senior leadership and strategic command and control missions.
• **Quality Assurance:** Review IT-related work and data for accuracy, completeness, and consistency with established standards.
• **Customer Service:** Develop and maintain relationships with customers, anticipating IT needs and identifying tailored solutions.
• **Technical Communication:** Brief senior management and IT staff on IT systems, projects, and operations, translating complex technical information for non-technical audiences.
• **Problem Solving:** Identify and resolve unique, highly complex IT issues, anticipating problems and evaluating alternative solutions.
• *Required Qualifications:**
• One year of specialized experience (equivalent to GS-13 federal service) in planning, implementation, and maintenance of secure global networks and critical infrastructure.
• Demonstrated ability to ensure the availability, reliability, and security of communications vital to senior leadership and strategic command and control missions.
• Proven skills in attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, and problem-solving within an IT context.
