IT Specialist (Infosec)

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Specialist (INFOSEC) at the GS-14 level to manage and secure critical information systems.

• *Key Responsibilities:**
• Develop and interpret cybersecurity policies, providing expert advice to management and IT teams.
• Apply DoD and NIST guidance to protect data integrity, confidentiality, and availability.
• Conduct thorough risk assessments and produce detailed reports.
• Interpret and apply federal laws, regulations, and policies related to Cyber Resilience, testing, and performance management.
• Design, implement, and operate internal security controls to meet federal compliance requirements.
• Manage IT security projects and programs, including planning, monitoring, contract administration, and reporting.
• *Qualifications:**
• Minimum of one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 level in federal service, military, or the private sector.
• Experience must demonstrate competencies in cybersecurity policy, risk management, federal compliance, and project leadership.
• All qualifying experience, including volunteer work, will be considered.
