IT Specialist (Infosec)

The IT Specialist (INFOSEC) will be responsible for ensuring robust cybersecurity compliance and maintaining secure information systems. This role requires a proactive approach to monitoring, evaluating, and coordinating IT security efforts within a federal environment.

• *Key Responsibilities:**
• Manage comprehensive cybersecurity compliance activities for information systems, ensuring successful Authority to Operate (ATO).
• Continuously monitor and evaluate information systems' adherence to federal and organizational security requirements.
• Collaborate with diverse stakeholders to implement and meticulously document IT security policies and procedures.
• *Required Qualifications:**
• One year of specialized IT-related experience equivalent to the GS-12 level in the Federal government or comparable private sector, demonstrating direct relevance to the duties outlined.
• Proven experience in:

* Managing cybersecurity compliance for system authorization (ATO). * Monitoring and evaluating IT system security compliance. * Coordinating IT security policy implementation with stakeholders.
