IT Specialist (Infosec)

We are looking for a highly skilled IT Specialist focused on Information Security, specifically Data Loss Prevention (DLP). In this role, you will be crucial in protecting sensitive data by identifying risks, developing mitigation strategies, and overseeing the effectiveness of DLP programs.

• *Key Responsibilities:**
• Perform comprehensive risk assessments and vulnerability analyses to detect potential data loss risks.
• Develop and implement effective strategies to mitigate identified data loss vulnerabilities.
• Design, maintain, and report on key metrics to measure the effectiveness of Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies, procedures, and technical solutions.
• Provide regular, insightful reports to leadership on DLP program performance.
• Manage and allocate budgets and resources for DLP-related projects and initiatives to ensure program goals are met.
• *Required Qualifications:**
• One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 level in the federal service, military, or private sector. This experience must directly relate to information security and data loss prevention.
• Demonstrated expertise in conducting risk assessments, vulnerability analysis, and developing mitigation strategies.
• Proficiency in developing and maintaining security metrics and reporting.
• Experience in budget management and resource allocation for security projects.
