IT Specialist (Datamgt)

We are seeking an IT Specialist (Data Management) at the GS-13 level to oversee critical database systems. This role requires extensive experience in system analysis, design, and strategic implementation within a secure IT environment.

• *Key Responsibilities:**
• Analyze operating system compatibility for complex database application problem resolution.
• Evaluate database and system capabilities to define and meet information requirements.
• Design and structure overall database and system architecture.
• Implement short-term and long-range strategic concepts and plans, particularly for National Security/Emergency Preparedness (NS/EP).
• Develop and update user manuals, authentication procedures, installation guides, and IT security features for system administration.
• *Qualifications:**
• One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level in the Federal service or private sector.
• Experience must demonstrate advanced capabilities in database and system analysis, design, and strategic IT planning.
• Must meet all eligibility requirements, including time-in-grade, by the closing date.
• All qualifying experience, including volunteer work, will be considered.
