IT Specialist (Data Management)

The IT Specialist (Data Management) will maintain and optimize critical data systems, ensuring efficient operations and robust data integrity.

• *Key Responsibilities:**
• Manage and optimize data movement, batch processes, and overall data maintenance.
• Operate and maintain computer hardware, software, and printing systems.
• Design and maintain databases, including strategic allocation of storage capacity.
• Identify and resolve hardware and software issues within the division.
• Develop and document detailed computer processes and procedures.
• *Required Qualifications:**
• Minimum of one year of specialized IT experience at the PG-11 level or equivalent.
• **Demonstrated IT Competencies:**

* **Attention to Detail:** Thorough and conscientious in all tasks. * **Customer Service:** Ability to assess needs, provide support, and resolve issues for users. * **Oral Communication:** Effectively convey technical information to various audiences. * **Problem Solving:** Identify issues, analyze information, and recommend effective solutions.

* Practical knowledge of Virtual Memory System (VMS) and Windows operating systems. * Strong understanding of computer flow diagrams, indirect Command Files, and batch processing. * Experience in designing, maintaining, and allocating storage for databases.
