IT Specialist (Appsw/Sysanalysis)

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Specialist to provide expert support in application software and systems analysis. This role involves managing IT projects, ensuring system integrity, and contributing to strategic IT initiatives.

• *Key Responsibilities:**
• Provide expertise in IT architecture, risk management, testing, system development, and maintenance.
• Conduct risk management analysis, modeling, and metric gathering to identify and mitigate program risks.
• Oversee and direct all phases of system development projects, including planning, design, build, test, deployment, and implementation.
• Lead "gap analysis" processes and develop/implement reports, interfaces, conversions, and extensions.
• Assist in budget formulation and execution by analyzing project data and prioritizing requirements.
• Direct requirements analysis for program and project management within the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Interpret functional requirements for DLA Platforms and applications.
• Ensure the implementation of industry-standard project management methodologies for IT programs.
• Prepare and present technical briefings to senior management, stakeholders, and IT professionals.
• *Qualifications:**
• One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 level (or comparable in military/private sector).
• Experience must include, but is not limited to, IT architecture, risk management, testing, system development, and maintenance.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies and the SDLC.
• Ability to analyze complex IT requirements and develop solutions.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Must meet all eligibility requirements (e.g., time-in-grade).
• All qualifying experience, including volunteer work, will be credited.
