IT Specialist (Appsw)

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Specialist (APPSW) to manage and secure critical software applications. This role focuses on ensuring system availability, security, and compliance.

• *Key Responsibilities:**
• Execute software administration best practices to maintain system availability and security.
• Perform comprehensive system configuration, installation, integration, testing, debugging, documentation, and maintenance of software solutions.
• Review software and environments for strict compliance with cybersecurity requirements, including Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG).
• Analyze application code written in various languages, such as .NET, HTML, XML, and SQL, for quality and security.
• *Requirements:**
• One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 level in federal service or a comparable role in the private sector.
• Proven experience in software administration and system lifecycle management.
• Demonstrated ability to ensure cybersecurity compliance for software applications.
• Proficiency in reviewing application code across multiple programming languages.
