Summary

IT Specialist needed to administer, secure, and ensure compliance for software applications, including code review.

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Specialist (APPSW) to manage and secure critical software applications. This role focuses on ensuring system availability, security, and compliance.

*Key Responsibilities:**
Execute software administration best practices to maintain system availability and security.
Perform comprehensive system configuration, installation, integration, testing, debugging, documentation, and maintenance of software solutions.
Review software and environments for strict compliance with cybersecurity requirements, including Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG).
Analyze application code written in various languages, such as .NET, HTML, XML, and SQL, for quality and security.

*Requirements:**
One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 level in federal service or a comparable role in the private sector.
Proven experience in software administration and system lifecycle management.
Demonstrated ability to ensure cybersecurity compliance for software applications.
Proficiency in reviewing application code across multiple programming languages.
