Summary
Lead IT acquisition programs, manage cross-functional teams, and ensure strategic objectives are met through expert portfolio oversight.
The IT Portfolio Manager will provide visionary leadership and strategic oversight for complex IT acquisition programs, driving efficiency and delivering rapid software solutions. This role requires an experienced leader capable of guiding cross-functional teams and ensuring program success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide visionary leadership and guidance to cross-functional teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
- Motivate, inspire, and empower team members to achieve portfolio objectives and deliver rapid software solutions.
- Offer expert-level acquisition leadership and strategic guidance to senior stakeholders, ensuring seamless execution of IT acquisition programs.
- Oversee the acquisition of corporate IT systems, including major Automated Information Systems (AIS), ensuring adherence to cost, schedule, and performance targets.
- Provide critical insights and recommendations to optimize program performance and achieve strategic objectives.
- Manage and drive the successful execution, efficiency, and effectiveness of the assigned IT acquisition portfolio.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of one year of specialized experience at a senior level (equivalent to GS-14 or above) in IT portfolio or program management, directly relevant to the duties of this position.
- Demonstrated IT-related experience across the following core competencies:
- All qualifying experience, including volunteer work, will be considered.
