IT Cybersecurity Specialist (Network/Infosec)

We are seeking a highly skilled individual to manage and secure complex communication systems within a federal service environment. This role requires immediate success in applying advanced communication security (COMSEC) principles and program management techniques.

• *Key Responsibilities & Experience (GG-13 Level):**
• **COMSEC Expertise:** Apply a wide range of communication concepts and principles with Communications Security (COMSEC) methods to review, analyze, and resolve complex network security problems.
• **Program Management:** Implement complex COMSEC systems, ensuring projects are on schedule and within budget constraints, leveraging strong program management principles.
• **Problem Solving:** Identify and implement solutions for intricate IT-related issues by gathering and applying information from diverse sources.
• *Basic Requirements:**
• **Attention to Detail:** Review your own and others' IT-related work and data for accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
• **Customer Service:** Maintain customer relationships, assess IT needs, and develop tailored IT solutions.
• **Oral Communication:** Effectively brief management and IT staff on system status and projects, translating technical information for non-technical audiences.
• *Qualifications:**
• Minimum one year of experience demonstrating competencies for immediate success in this position.
• Experience includes paid, unpaid, volunteer, and military service equivalent to the next lower federal grade level.
