IT Cybersecurity Specialist (Infosec)

This GG-14 position seeks a highly skilled IT professional to manage and secure information technology systems, with a focus on cloud architecture, risk management, and cybersecurity.

• *Key Responsibilities:**
• Review IT work and data for accuracy, completeness, and consistency with established standards.
• Develop and maintain customer relationships, anticipating IT needs and tailoring solutions.
• Brief senior management and IT staff on system status, projects, and operations, translating complex technical information for non-technical audiences.
• Identify and evaluate solutions for unique, highly complex, or sensitive IT-related issues, anticipating potential problems.
• *Required Qualifications (GG-14 Level):**
• Minimum one year of specialized experience demonstrating immediate success in the position.
• Proficiency in cloud architecture.
• Strong understanding of risk management principles.
• Experience with security and cloud operations.
• Ability to apply cybersecurity principles to evaluate risk posture and effectively convey this information to decision-making authorities.
