Job Description

Summary

Lead cybersecurity risk analysis, evaluate system vulnerabilities, and guide security teams to ensure cyber readiness and authorization.

We are seeking a highly skilled cybersecurity professional to provide expert risk analysis and guidance for critical systems. In this role, you will evaluate cybersecurity environments, assess vulnerabilities, analyze security controls, and prepare high-quality documentation to ensure authorization readiness. You will also collaborate closely with system owners and security teams to develop mitigations and support continuous monitoring efforts.

  • *Key Responsibilities:**
  • Provide expert risk analysis and guidance on system cybersecurity, cyber risk of use, and authorization readiness.
  • Evaluate cybersecurity environments, assess vulnerabilities, analyze security controls, and identify risk posture.
  • Prepare high-quality security documentation.
  • Collaborate with system owners and security teams to develop/validate mitigations, support continuous monitoring, and strengthen overall cyber readiness.
  • *Qualifications:**
  • Minimum one year of specialized experience (equivalent to the NH-III federal grade level) demonstrating expertise in:
* Providing expert cyber risk analysis and guidance to decision-makers. * Evaluating cybersecurity environments, vulnerabilities, and security controls. * Developing or validating mitigations and supporting continuous monitoring.
  • Experience may have been gained in the private or public sector.
  • Relevant experience includes both paid and unpaid work.
