Summary
Seeking a Watch Officer to coordinate IT event responses and manage critical IT communications.
This role seeks a dedicated IT professional to serve as a Watch Officer, focusing on critical event response and strategic IT communication.
- *Key Responsibilities:**
- Coordinate IT event responses and resolutions.
- Provide clear communication regarding IT policy, planning, and problem resolution.
- Review IT-related work and data for accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
- Maintain strong customer relationships, assess IT needs, and identify tailored solutions.
- Brief mid-level management and IT staff on system status, translating technical information for non-technical audiences.
- Identify and implement alternative solutions for complex IT-related issues by gathering and applying information from diverse sources.
- *Required Qualifications:**
- Minimum of one year of experience demonstrating immediate success in the position's competencies.
- Proven experience serving as a Watch Officer.
- Demonstrated ability in coordinating event response.
- Experience communicating on IT policy, planning, coordination, or problem resolution.
- Strong competencies in Attention to Detail, Customer Service, Oral Communication, and Problem Solving.
- Note: Volunteer experience, including military service, is recognized and valued. A combination of education and experience is not applicable for this position.*
