IT Cybersecurity Specialist (Infosec)

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Security Specialist to ensure the integrity and security of our information systems. This role demands keen attention to detail, strong problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills to protect against cyber threats and maintain robust security protocols.

Key Qualifications:

• **Specialized Experience:** At least one year of experience demonstrating immediate success in an IT security role.
• **Security Operations Expertise:** Proven experience in log review, analysis, detection, and response to aberrant activity, adhering to Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) or Risk Management Framework (RMF) requirements.
• **Technical Proficiency:** Administrator-level experience in an underlying technology and/or hands-on experience with security toolsets like Splunk and Microsoft Office 365 security products.
• **Attention to Detail:** Meticulous approach to reviewing IT work and data, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and consistency with established standards.
• **Oral Communication:** Ability to clearly brief management and IT staff on system status, projects, and daily operations, effectively translating technical information for non-technical audiences.
• **Problem Solving:** Demonstrated capacity to identify alternatives for complex IT-related issues by gathering and applying information from diverse sources to develop solutions.
• **Customer Service:** Experience maintaining customer relationships, assessing IT needs, and developing or identifying tailored IT products and services.
