Summary

IT Systems Security Specialist needed to plan, implement, and maintain security programs and brief leadership on IT initiatives.

We are seeking a highly skilled IT professional with strong competencies to manage and secure information systems. This role requires immediate success in planning, implementing, and maintaining robust security programs.

*Key Responsibilities & Competencies:**
**Attention to Detail:** Meticulously review IT work and data for accuracy, completeness, and consistency with established standards.
**Customer Service:** Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, anticipate IT needs, and provide tailored solutions.
**Oral Communication:** Clearly brief senior management and IT staff on system status, projects, and daily operations, translating complex technical information for non-technical audiences.
**Problem Solving:** Identify and resolve unique, highly complex, or sensitive IT-related issues; proactively anticipate problems and develop alternative solutions.

*Qualifying Experience (GG-14):**

Applicants must demonstrate at least one year of experience in:

Planning, analyzing, developing, implementing, and maintaining information systems security programs.
Preparing and presenting formal and informal briefings to leadership using the latest DoD office productivity and automation tools.
