Job Description

Summary

Cybersecurity Specialist (GS-13) wanted to develop policies, conduct assessments, and ensure federal compliance for IT security.

We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Specialist (GS-13) to contribute to our IT security framework. This role requires demonstrated experience in developing and implementing robust cybersecurity measures.

  • *Key Responsibilities:**
  • Develop and implement cybersecurity policies, procedures, and documentation, including Authorization to Operate (ATO) packages, System Security Plans, and Plans of Action and Milestones (POAMs).
  • Conduct comprehensive cybersecurity assessments and provide actionable recommendations to secure on-premises and cloud networks, ensuring information system integrity.
  • Present clear and concise cybersecurity findings and recommendations to management.
  • Ensure strict adherence to Federal Information Security Modernization Act (FISMA) and Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) standards across all IT environments, including FedRAMP cloud systems.
  • *Required Qualifications:**
  • Minimum of one year of specialized cybersecurity experience equivalent to the GS-12 level.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Attention to Detail, Customer Service, Oral Communication, and Problem Solving.
  • Note: All qualifying experience, including volunteer work, will be considered.*
