IT Business Cycle Specialist

The IT Business Cycle Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring the audit readiness and efficient operation of DLA's IT systems and processes. This position involves managing IT business cycles, conducting organizational assessments, and ensuring compliance with federal regulations.

• *Key Responsibilities:**
• Support audit readiness, process management, and organizational assessments within DLA Information Operations.
• Analyze and execute organizational assessment functions for process discovery and continuous improvement.
• Understand and manage the IT life cycle and business cycle, specifically concerning DLA-owned and non-DLA-owned financial and feeder systems.
• Assist in and track the resolution of identified deficiencies to support audit readiness of DLA end-to-end business cycles.
• Address dependencies between internal and external systems.
• Apply knowledge of applicable public laws, regulations, and policies affecting IT life-cycle management, strategic planning, IT investment management, and performance management.
• *Required Experience & Qualifications:**
• **Specialized Experience:** One year of dedicated experience demonstrating the competencies required for the role.

* **For GS-12 Equivalent:** Experience that includes comprehensive knowledge of audit readiness, process management, and organizational assessments within an IT context, coupled with understanding IT life cycle support for financial/feeder systems. * **For GS-13 Equivalent:** Advanced experience demonstrating expert knowledge of IT life-cycle management, strategic planning, IT investment management, performance management, and the ability to analyze and resolve IT deficiencies for audit readiness.
