Summary

Criminal Investigative Analyst applies advanced analytical techniques and technology to gather evidence, develop findings, and support legal proceedings.

Join our team as a Criminal Investigative Analyst to apply advanced analytical techniques in support of critical criminal investigations.

  • *Key Responsibilities:**
  • Plan and execute criminal investigative analysis to research, retrieve, and develop findings for ongoing cases.
  • Utilize cutting-edge technological and investigative strategies to gather and analyze evidence, with a focus on social media.
  • Collaborate closely with attorneys and law enforcement on investigative strategies, intelligence sharing, and trial preparation.
  • Conduct interviews with witnesses, law enforcement officials, and subject matter experts to gather intelligence.
  • Create and compile audio-visual materials, documents, and evidence to effectively demonstrate analytical findings.
  • Communicate findings clearly, concisely, accurately, and logically, both orally and in writing.
  • *Qualifications:**
  • **Education:**
* Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree, or * 3 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree (e.g., Ph.D. or LL.M. if related). * *Graduate education must be from an accredited institution and demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities essential for this role.*
  • **Experience:**
* 1 year of specialized experience at a comparable professional level that demonstrates: * Proficiency in planning and applying criminal investigative analysis. * Experience in researching, retrieving, and developing investigative findings. * Skill in using technology and investigative strategies to gather and analyze evidence, especially social media. * Ability to communicate and collaborate with attorneys and law enforcement on strategies, intelligence, and trial preparation. * Experience interviewing witnesses, law enforcement, and technical subject-matter experts. * Capacity to create and compile audio-visual materials, documents, and evidence. * Strong oral and written reporting skills, ensuring clarity, conciseness, accuracy, and logic.
  • **Combination:** A combination of specialized experience and graduate education (with graduate education exceeding 2 full years) that collectively meets 100% of the requirements.
