## International Energy Policy Analyst (GS-11/12)

Join our team to contribute to critical international energy policy analysis and development. We are seeking a dedicated professional to research, report on, and foster key relationships within the global energy sector.

### Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the analysis and planning of international energy policy.
  • Prepare comprehensive written reports on international energy policy, market trends, investment, and trade issues.
  • Develop and maintain professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
### Requirements:

#### For GS-12 Level:

  • **Specialized Experience:** One year of experience equivalent to the GS-11 level, demonstrating proficiency in analyzing energy policy, preparing related reports, and engaging stakeholders.
  • **Federal Time-in-Grade:** Must have served 52 weeks at the GS-11 level.
#### For GS-11 Level:
  • **Specialized Experience:** One year of experience equivalent to the GS-09 level, demonstrating proficiency in analyzing energy policy, preparing related reports, and engaging stakeholders.
  • **Education Substitution:** Ph.D. or 3 years of progressively higher-level graduate education in a relevant field.
  • **Combination:** A mix of graduate education (beyond 36 semester hours) and specialized experience may qualify.
  • **Federal Time-in-Grade:** Must have served 52 weeks at the GS-09 level.
#### General Qualifications (Applicable to both GS-11/12):
  • **Education:** A degree with at least 24 semester hours in international law/relations, political science, economics, history, sociology, geography, social/cultural anthropology, law, statistics, or humanities; or 12 semester hours in one of these fields plus 12 semester hours in statistics/quantitative methods.
  • **Alternative Experience:** Four years of relevant experience in international organizations, foreign affairs, or work providing intimate knowledge of a foreign country or geographic area.
  • **Resume Limit:** Submit a resume of no more than two pages.
  • **Volunteer Experience:** Qualifying unpaid experience, such as volunteer work, is credited towards experience requirements.
