Summary
International Economic Analyst for trade, market, and data analysis in minerals/metals, leading key economic projects.
This role as an International Economic Analyst focuses on the minerals and metals industries, requiring expertise in international economic principles, trade policy, and global competitiveness. You will be instrumental in analyzing trade dynamics and market conditions.
- *Key Responsibilities:**
- Analyze trade laws, regulations, and market conditions relevant to the minerals and metals sectors.
- Gather, process, and interpret complex economic and trade data.
- Develop and present comprehensive written reports on intricate economic subjects.
- Lead and contribute to the planning, design, and execution of various projects and studies.
- *Qualifications:**
- **All Levels:** Strong understanding of international economic principles, trade policy, and industry competitiveness, especially for minerals and metals.
- **GS-11:** One year of specialized experience equivalent to GS-9, or a Ph.D. in Economics. Specialized experience includes at least one of the Key Responsibilities listed above.
- **GS-12:** One year of specialized experience equivalent to GS-11, including at least two of the Key Responsibilities listed above.
- **GS-13:** One year of specialized experience equivalent to GS-12, including at least three of the Key Responsibilities listed above.
- All qualifying experience (paid, volunteer, unpaid) is considered. Education must be from a U.S. Department of Education-recognized institution.
