Job Description

Summary

Technical expert needed for mission computing/processing systems, focusing on engineering advisory, risk reduction, and performance improvements.

We are seeking candidates with at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the DP-03 grade level (Federal service) or equivalent in the private/public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:

  • Identify and implement corrective actions for system deficiencies to enhance mission performance, safety, and readiness.
  • Address obsolescence challenges by developing and assessing plans to reduce risks and improve performance for Mission Computing/Processing hardware and software.
  • Serve as a technical advisor to the Integrated Product Team (IPT) Lead for contractor and subcontractor engineering, design, development, production, and test efforts.
  • Perform technical reviews and approve Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) submissions.
  • Support the definition, investigation, and planning of future updates for Mission Computing/Processing systems and components.
  • Review operational plans, participate in operations, and identify potential deficiencies, issues, risks, and improvements for certified Mission Processing/Computing systems.
