Interdisciplinary Supervisory Research Physicist/Engineer

This position requires at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to GS-11/13 or NP-03 Federal service, or comparable experience in the private or public sector.

• Supervise personnel, including performance evaluation and EEO compliance.
• Manage and coordinate technical and administrative aspects of research and development (R&D) efforts.
• Organize and execute scientific programs.
• Conduct experimental and theoretical research into the principles of optics.
• Demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills.
• *Selective Placement Factor:**
• Experience in both performing and supervising experimental and theoretical research on fundamental optics principles, specifically in optical propagation, infrared countermeasures, and optical systems, including their practical applications.
