Summary

Lead acquisition cost analysis and program management for air weapon systems, applying expertise in cost modeling and team leadership.

We are seeking a highly experienced Industrial Engineer or Operations Research Analyst to lead acquisition cost analysis and program management for air weapon systems.

  • *Key Responsibilities:**
  • Lead comprehensive acquisition cost analysis, modeling, and forecasting for new or improved air weapon systems or components.
  • Provide leadership for complex programs and associated acquisition cost teams.
  • Communicate complex technical information effectively, both orally and in writing, to support analysis and reviews.
  • Apply innovative judgment to adapt and modify established procedures for unique challenges.
  • Function as a project lead, program manager, or team lead, offering technical guidance and ensuring customer requirements are met.
  • Mentor and train junior team members, fostering their skill development.
  • *Requirements:**
  • Minimum of one year of specialized experience equivalent to a senior professional level (e.g., GS-12/13) in the private or public sector.
  • Demonstrated in-depth expertise in air weapon systems, acquisition cost estimating, cost modeling, and cost analysis techniques.
  • Proven ability to lead complex programs and integrated teams.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills for conveying technical information.
  • Ability to apply ingenuity and sound judgment in making innovative interpretations and modifications to procedures.
