Summary
Seeking a Professional Engineer to lead aerospace instruction, curriculum development, and flight test engineering for complex systems.
Join our team as a Professional Engineer, specializing in aerospace instruction, curriculum development, and flight test engineering. We seek a skilled individual to contribute to advanced technical training and rigorous system evaluation.
- *Key Responsibilities:**
- Provide advanced classroom instruction and professional consultation in core aerospace subjects (e.g., aeromechanics, airborne systems, propulsion) to pilots, engineers, and technical professionals.
- Design, develop, and update advanced technical curricula for aerospace engineering or flight test, including creating lectures, student exercises, and examinations.
- Apply engineering principles to the test and evaluation of aircraft and complex systems, with direct involvement in flight test design, data acquisition, data reduction, and data analysis.
- *Qualifications:**
- Meet basic education requirements for a Professional Engineer.
- Possess at least one year of specialized professional engineering experience at a senior level (equivalent to GS-12/13 or similar).
- Demonstrated expertise in delivering advanced aerospace instruction, curriculum development, and flight test engineering principles.
- Relevant paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work through National Service programs, is highly valued and contributes to critical competencies and skills.
