Job Description

Summary

Lead complex aeronautical weapon system engineering, program management, and cross-functional team coordination.

Join our team as an experienced engineer contributing to critical aeronautical weapon systems. We require at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to GS-12/13 or DP-04 (Federal), or similar experience in the private or public sector, demonstrating proficiency in:

  • **Program Management:** Utilize processes including contracting, source selection, technical readiness assessments, and ROI calculations.
  • **System Lifecycle Management:** Develop, manage, control, and evaluate aeronautical weapon systems, subsystems, and equipment.
  • **Cross-Functional Coordination:** Lead and integrate efforts across multiple Product Teams for unified technical solutions.
  • **Acquisition & Procurement Guidance:** Advise teams on RFPs, Type Specifications, Procurement Requests, and Acquisition Plans to ensure systems engineering compliance.
  • **Engineering Analysis & Resolution:** Conduct system designs, integrations, cost/risk/performance analyses, trade studies, testing, and resolve in-service issues.
  • **Technical Representation:** Represent engineering teams to ensure designs meet all specifications and key performance thresholds.
