Job Description
Summary
Seeking an experienced Program/Systems Engineer to manage and develop aeronautical weapon systems, coordinate teams, and ensure technical compliance.
This role requires a minimum of one year of specialized experience in program and systems engineering, focusing on aeronautical weapon systems.
- *Key Responsibilities & Requirements:**
- Utilize program management processes, including contracting, source selections, technical readiness assessments, and return on investment (ROI) calculations.
- Develop, manage, control, and evaluate aeronautical weapon systems, subsystems, and equipment.
- Coordinate activities across multiple Product Teams to deliver integrated solutions for technical challenges.
- Provide guidance to engineering and functional teams on issuing Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Type Specifications, Procurement Requests, and Acquisition Plans.
- Apply engineering capabilities for system designs, integrations, cost/risk/performance analyses, trade studies, system testing, and in-service problem resolution.
- Represent the engineering team to ensure designs meet all specification requirements and key performance thresholds.
