Job Description
Summary
Provide engineering support for mission computing/processing systems, ensuring performance, readiness, and addressing obsolescence challenges.
We are seeking a qualified professional with at least one year of specialized experience in a role equivalent to the Federal DP-03 grade level, or comparable experience in the private/public sector. This specialized experience must include:
- **System Optimization & Readiness:** Prescribing corrective actions for deficiencies and evaluating new capabilities to enhance mission performance, safety, and readiness.
- **Obsolescence Management:** Assisting in addressing obsolescence challenges and developing/assessing plans to mitigate risks and boost performance for Mission Computing/Processing hardware/software.
- **Technical Advisory:** Supporting the Integrated Product Team (IPT) Lead as a technical advisor for contractor/subcontractor engineering efforts, covering systems, software, design, development, production, and testing.
- **Technical Reviews:** Performing technical reviews and approving Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) submissions in support of the IPT Lead.
- **Future System Planning:** Supporting the definition, investigation, and planning of future updates for Mission Computing/Processing systems and components.
- **Operational Improvement:** Reviewing plans, participating in operations, and identifying potential deficiencies, issues, risks, and improvements for certified Mission Processing/Computing systems.
