Summary
Analyze data, evaluate programs, and develop strategies for Child/Youth/School Liaison programs as a GS-14 Sociologist or Statistician.
## Sociologist / Statistician (GS-14)
Seeking a highly analytical Sociologist or Statistician (GS-14) to drive strategic improvements in Child Development, Youth, and School Liaison Programs through comprehensive data analysis and program evaluation.
### Key Responsibilities:
- Collect and analyze data from diverse sources.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of research, data, and program operations, specifically within Child Development, Youth, and School Liaison Programs.
- Analyze data, research, metrics, and trends to inform policy and strategy development.
- Formulate and recommend data-driven solutions to optimize program outcomes.
- *Education (Choose One):**
- **Sociologist:** Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Sociology, Social Psychology, or Political Science (with at least 24 semester hours in sociology); or equivalent coursework (24+ sociology semester hours) combined with appropriate experience or additional education.
- **Statistician:** Bachelor's degree (or higher) including 15 semester hours in statistics (or in mathematics/statistics, with at least 6 hours in statistics) and 9 additional semester hours in physical/biological sciences, medicine, education, engineering, or social sciences; or equivalent coursework combined with professional statistical experience (e.g., sampling, data collection/analysis, applying statistical techniques).
- *Specialized Experience (for GS-14):**
One year of experience equivalent to the GS-13 level, which includes:
- Collecting data from diverse sources.
- Evaluating the effectiveness of research, data, or program operations in Child Development, Youth, and/or School Liaison Programs.
- Analyzing data, research, metrics, or trends to develop policy and/or strategy changes.
- Recommending solutions based on the analysis of data, research, metrics, or trends for these programs.

- Applicants must meet federal employment authority categories.
- Federal employees must meet the Time-in-Grade requirement (52 weeks at GS-13 or equivalent).
