Job Description

Summary

Lead AI/ML infrastructure and data solutions, applying DevSecOps principles with strong CS or Engineering expertise.

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to lead the development and optimization of our Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AI/ML) infrastructure. This role involves advising on cutting-edge technologies, directing the full lifecycle of advanced data infrastructure solutions, and providing expert technical guidance on architectural and engineering challenges. Candidates must possess a strong understanding of Data, ML, AI, and DevSecOps principles.

  • *Responsibilities:**
  • Advise on technologies to accelerate the development, testing, and deployment of AI/ML applications.
  • Direct the development and lifecycle management of advanced data infrastructure solutions.
  • Apply principles of Data, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, and DevSecOps.
  • Provide expert technical guidance on architecture engineering and technical issues.
  • *Qualifications:**
  • *Experience:**
  • Minimum of one year of experience (equivalent to a GG-13 Federal service level or similar in the private sector) specifically involving AI/ML infrastructure and advanced data solutions.
  • *Education (One of the following paths):**
  • *Computer Science Specialization:**
  • Bachelor's or higher degree in Computer Science.
  • Alternatively, a Bachelor's or higher degree with at least 30 semester hours in a combination of mathematics, statistics, and computer science, including a minimum of 15 semester hours in statistics and mathematics (with differential and integral calculus).
  • *Engineering Specialization:**
  • Bachelor's or higher degree in Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
  • Alternatively, a Bachelor's or higher degree in Engineering including differential and integral calculus, plus courses in five of the following seven engineering science/physics areas: statics, dynamics; strength of materials; fluid mechanics; thermodynamics; electrical fields and circuits; nature and properties of materials; or other comparable fundamental engineering science/physics areas.
  • **Combined Education & Experience:** College-level education and/or technical experience demonstrating a strong foundation in physical and mathematical sciences underlying engineering, and a practical understanding of engineering sciences and their applications. This can be demonstrated by:
* Current professional registration or licensure (Engineer Intern, Engineer in Training, or Professional Engineer). * Successful completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) examination. * At least 60 semester hours of coursework in physical, mathematical, and engineering sciences (including specified engineering courses). * Successful completion of a curriculum leading to a bachelor's degree in an appropriate scientific field (e.g., engineering technology, physics, chemistry, architecture, computer science, mathematics, hydrology, geology) combined with at least one year of professional engineering experience under supervision.
