Summary
Seeking a Senior Intelligence Professional to serve as a SOF SIGINT expert, leading technical solutions and strategy within the U.S. Intelligence Community.
This is a senior-level position seeking an experienced intelligence professional to serve as a Subject Matter Expert in Signals Intelligence (SIGINT) for U.S. Special Operations Forces (SOF).
- *Key Responsibilities:**
- Serve as an authoritative expert on SOF SIGINT operations, employment, and Information Security (INFOSEC) systems.
- Lead and participate in SOF, Joint, and interagency teams to develop technical solutions for community-wide intelligence requirements.
- Maintain an in-depth, current understanding of the SOF global SIGINT mission, deployment, and operational posture.
- Provide expert representation for SOCOM Headquarters, the J2 Directorate, and the Director of the SOCOM Cryptologic Office.
- Analyze complex multi-source intelligence information to produce detailed assessments and identify intelligence deficiencies.
- Conduct unbiased research, identify appropriate data sources, and develop intelligence requirement assessments.
- Prepare professional-level documents and deliver executive-level briefings.
- *Required Qualifications:**
- Expert-level knowledge of the full spectrum of U.S. Intelligence Community (IC) missions, capabilities, and systems.
- Highly technical knowledge of new/emerging SIGINT collection systems, processing techniques, and reporting formats.
- In-depth knowledge of the intelligence cycle, policy, guidance, and the structure of the national IC, DoD, and SOF.
- Detailed knowledge of the DoD Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) system.
- Thorough familiarity with SOCOM Headquarters, components, and unit organizations.
- Demonstrated ability to quickly assimilate disparate data, render accurate assessments, and make informed decisions under urgent conditions.
- *Essential Skills:**
- Superior analytical and complex research capabilities.
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical and complex information to diverse audiences, including executive leadership.
- Strong collaboration and problem-solving skills to work effectively with peers, management, and interagency partners.
- *Conditions of Employment:**
- Must be eligible for and maintain Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance, with potential for access to Special Access Programs (SAP).
- Requires a signed non-disclosure agreement.
- Subject to initial and periodic short-notice drug testing.
- Designated as a Key Position, essential during national emergencies.
