Job Description

Summary

Lead senior-level intelligence analysis, develop cryptologic policy, and advise Air Force operations, requiring advanced analytical and communication skills.

This is a senior-level position focused on advanced intelligence analysis and cryptologic operations within the national security framework.

  • *Key Responsibilities:**
  • Conduct comprehensive multi-source intelligence research and collection to develop intelligence capabilities and threat assessments.
  • Apply advanced analytical principles and methods to produce detailed analyses from complex, multi-source information.
  • Develop and advise on cryptologic intelligence policy, mission authorization, and oversight documentation.
  • Provide expert guidance to Air Force operational and staff elements on cryptologic mission development and conduct.
  • Identify and authorize optimal data sources for Air Force cryptologic analysts.
  • Communicate complex intelligence findings effectively, both verbally and in writing, to senior leadership for decision-making.
  • Maintain control of classified materials and make informed decisions under urgent conditions, based on mature judgment.
  • *Required Qualifications:**
  • Comprehensive knowledge of intelligence research and collection methods, techniques, and practices, including multi-source systems.
  • Demonstrated expertise in advanced analytical principles, concepts, and methods, including database manipulation.
  • In-depth understanding of the National Intelligence Community, Joint, and DoD structure, organizations, missions, and inter-relationships.
  • Extensive knowledge of cryptologic intelligence operational methods, techniques, and practices.
  • Proficiency in national, DoD, and Air Force cryptologic intelligence guiding policy and mission authorization documentation.
  • Proven skill in identifying and authorizing appropriate data sources for cryptologic analysts.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills, including developing clear products and delivering presentations to senior audiences.
  • Ability to quickly assimilate disparate data, render accurate assessments, and make sound judgments under pressure.
  • *Important Notes:**
  • This is a Testing Designated Position (TDP) requiring initial and periodic short-notice drug testing.
  • Creditable experience may include previous military experience, private sector, or other government agency experience.
  • Relevant part-time, unpaid, or volunteer work experience will be considered.
