Job Description

Summary

Intelligence Analyst sought to conduct research, analysis, and reporting using open-source and intelligence systems.

We are seeking skilled Intelligence Analysts to join our team, focusing on critical research and analysis to support strategic, operational, and tactical intelligence initiatives.

  • *Key Responsibilities:**
  • Conduct in-depth intelligence research, analysis, and reporting.
  • Utilize open-source materials, databases, and intelligence systems to gather and process information.
  • *For GS-11 level:* Perform comprehensive risk analysis and assessments pertaining to national security topics.
  • *Required Qualifications:**

Applicants must meet one of the following criteria for the respective grade level:

  • *For GS-09:**
  • **Experience:** One year of specialized experience comparable to the GS-07 level, which included using open-source materials, databases, and intelligence systems for strategic, operational, and tactical intelligence research, analysis, and reporting.
  • **Education:** A Master's or equivalent graduate degree, or two full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to a master's degree, or an LL.B. or J.D. if related to the position.
  • **Combination:** An equivalent combination of specialized experience and education.
  • *For GS-11:**
  • **Experience:** One year of specialized experience comparable to the GS-09 level, which included using open-source materials, databases, and intelligence systems for strategic, operational, and tactical intelligence research, analysis, and reporting, and performing risk analysis and assessments regarding national security topics.
  • **Education:** A Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree, or three full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree, or an LL.M. if related to the position.
  • **Combination:** An equivalent combination of specialized experience and education.
  • *Additional Requirements:**
  • **For Current Federal Employees:** Must meet Time-in-Grade (TIG) requirement of 52 weeks of service at the next lower grade level for promotion opportunities.
  • **Experience Credit:** All qualifying experience, including paid and unpaid/volunteer work (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps, professional, philanthropic, community organizations), will be credited.
