## Instructional Systems Specialist (Special Education)
We are seeking an Instructional Systems Specialist to lead the development and oversight of PreK-12 special education programs at an administrative level. This role demands expertise in instructional design principles and practical experience in special education policy and program management.
### Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement PreK-12 special education policies.
- Serve as a primary communicator for special education initiatives with internal and external stakeholders.
- Evaluate and review special education program performance and standards.
- *Education:**
- Bachelor's degree (or higher) with a minimum of 24 semester hours in at least four of the following areas:
- *Official transcripts for all degrees are required with your application.*
- *Experience:**
- One year of specialized experience (equivalent to GS-13 level) at an administrative office level (e.g., district, state, federal, or central office, not a single school) including:
- *Note: Education cannot be substituted for this specialized experience.*
- *Federal Applicants:**
- Must meet specific federal employment eligibility categories.
- If currently a federal employee, must have completed 52 weeks of federal service at the GS-13 level (or equivalent) within the last year.
