Inspector General

Seeking an experienced investigator to conduct complex inquiries within a federal environment. This role requires a strong background in investigative procedures, evidence gathering, and reporting.

• *Key Responsibilities:**
• Lead and conduct investigations into allegations of impropriety.
• Perform interviews with witnesses and subjects.
• Gather and analyze credible evidence in compliance with regulations.
• Develop and present comprehensive investigative reports, including sound conclusions and recommendations, to senior officials.
• *Required Qualifications:**
• One year of specialized experience (equivalent to GS-13 federal service) including:

* Conducting investigations or inquiries. * Interviewing witnesses or subjects. * Gathering credible evidence according to standards. * Preparing detailed investigative reports with conclusions/recommendations.

• Experience-only qualification; education cannot substitute for experience.
• Volunteer experience in relevant fields is considered.
