Information Technology Specialist (Sysadmin/Appsw)

• Apply Agile methodology to design, test, and implement end-user focused solutions.
• Develop software using modern tools and methods including Git-based version control, Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD), Test-Driven Design (TDD), and integrated DevSecOps collaboration platforms (e.g., GitLab, GitHub).
• Deliver frequent software releases that provide business value, reduce maintenance complexity, and resolve security vulnerabilities.
• Deploy containerized software packages on Kubernetes-based Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) platforms.
• *For SV-J Pay Band (Equivalent to GS-14):**
• *All responsibilities for the SV-I Pay Band, plus:*
• Train teams to develop software using modern tools and methods, including Git-based version control, CI/CD, TDD, and integrated DevSecOps platforms.
• Lead teams of software developers to deliver frequent software releases that provide business value, reduce maintenance complexity, and resolve security vulnerabilities.
• Train teams to deploy containerized software packages on Kubernetes-based PaaS platforms.
