Information Technology Specialist (Lit Tech)

We are seeking an experienced IT Support Specialist to provide comprehensive technical assistance and manage litigation support systems. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth operation of IT infrastructure and supporting legal professionals with specialized multimedia and presentation tools.

• *Key Responsibilities:**
• Provide expert IT customer support, troubleshooting, and resolving software/hardware issues.
• Manage, develop, and maintain litigation support systems to meet evolving needs.
• Offer user training and technical support on eDiscovery, multimedia (video/graphics), and trial presentation applications.
• Prepare advanced computerized presentations using a variety of software, including database, spreadsheet, word processing, mapping, audio, and video editing tools.
• Perform organization-wide account maintenance and implement software/hardware updates.
• *Qualifications:**
• *Education & Experience Options (one of the following):**
• A Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Science, Mathematics, or a related technology field, or 24 semester hours in these fields focused on application/system/network development.
• **or** 3 years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree.
• **or** Extensive IT-related experience demonstrating proficiency in:

* **Attention to Detail:** Thoroughness and conscientiousness in work. * **Customer Service:** Assessing needs, providing solutions, and ensuring quality service. * **Oral Communication:** Effectively conveying information to diverse audiences. * **Problem Solving:** Identifying issues, evaluating solutions, and making sound recommendations.

• *Additionally, candidates must have:**
• Minimum of one year of specialized IT experience, equivalent to a GS-9 level in Federal service or comparable industry experience, including:

* Troubleshooting and resolving recurring software/hardware problems. * Providing user training and support on eDiscovery and multimedia applications. * Developing and managing litigation support systems. * Preparing computerized presentations. * Diagnosing and resolving litigation support computer system issues. * Performing organization-wide account maintenance and updates.
