Job Description

Summary

Seeking an Information Assurance Specialist to provide expert technical advice, manage IA programs, and solve complex security problems.

We are seeking a highly skilled Information Assurance (IA) Specialist at the GS-13 level.

  • *Key Responsibilities:**
  • Provide expert technical advice, guidance, and recommendations on critical Information Assurance (IA) issues, security concepts, standards, and methods.
  • Maintain an organization-level Information Assurance (IA) program, including architecture, requirements, objectives, policies, personnel, and procedures.
  • Analyze complex information security problems, mission vulnerabilities, and security impacts.
  • Develop and implement cost-effective, efficient solutions to ensure mission success.
  • *Required Qualifications:**
  • One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level, directly related to the responsibilities listed above. (Note: Volunteer experience is credited).
  • Demonstrated proficiency in the following IT competencies (required for the 2210 series):
* Attention to Detail * Customer Service * Oral Communication * Problem Solving
