Information Technology Specialist (Infosec) (Direct Hire) (Public Notice)

We are seeking a highly skilled IT professional to lead complex computer projects, advise on system design, and manage infrastructure protection programs. This role requires a strong background in IT security and the ability to drive agency-wide program compliance.

• *Key Responsibilities:**
• Lead and execute complex computer project assignments, leveraging extensive knowledge of IT requirements and techniques.
• Analyze various approaches to IT system design, advising management on system interrelationships, operating modes, software, and equipment configurations.
• Establish, implement, and interpret IT security requirements.
• Coordinate the review and evaluation of the agency's infrastructure protection program, including policies, guidelines, tools, methods, and technologies.
• Identify current and potential IT security challenges, recommending updates or new requirements for a fully compliant infrastructure protection program.
• *Qualifications:**
• One year of specialized experience equivalent to a GS-13 level, demonstrating accomplishment of complex computer project assignments.
• Proven ability to establish, implement, and interpret security requirements.
• Experience coordinating the review and evaluation of infrastructure protection programs.
• Demonstrated proficiency in the following IT competencies: Attention to Detail, Customer Service, Oral Communication, and Problem Solving.
