Summary
Lead complex IT projects, system design, and comprehensive infrastructure protection programs, ensuring agency-wide security compliance.
We are seeking a highly skilled IT professional to lead complex computer projects, advise on system design, and manage infrastructure protection programs. This role requires a strong background in IT security and the ability to drive agency-wide program compliance.
- *Key Responsibilities:**
- Lead and execute complex computer project assignments, leveraging extensive knowledge of IT requirements and techniques.
- Analyze various approaches to IT system design, advising management on system interrelationships, operating modes, software, and equipment configurations.
- Establish, implement, and interpret IT security requirements.
- Coordinate the review and evaluation of the agency's infrastructure protection program, including policies, guidelines, tools, methods, and technologies.
- Identify current and potential IT security challenges, recommending updates or new requirements for a fully compliant infrastructure protection program.
- *Qualifications:**
- One year of specialized experience equivalent to a GS-13 level, demonstrating accomplishment of complex computer project assignments.
- Proven ability to establish, implement, and interpret security requirements.
- Experience coordinating the review and evaluation of infrastructure protection programs.
- Demonstrated proficiency in the following IT competencies: Attention to Detail, Customer Service, Oral Communication, and Problem Solving.
