Information Technology Specialist (Inet) Webmaster

Join our team as a Senior Web Specialist, where you will lead the design, development, and maintenance of large-scale public websites. This role requires expertise across the full software development lifecycle, ensuring advanced web technologies are integrated securely and efficiently to deliver exceptional user experiences.

• *Responsibilities:**
• Formulate and implement solutions for large public websites, integrating advanced web technologies (e.g., CMS, enterprise search, web servers) while ensuring strict security compliance.
• Design front-end interfaces and information architecture for complex websites, prioritizing usability, performance, and Section 508 accessibility.
• Manage the end-to-end software development lifecycle (SDLC), including requirements, design, development, testing, deployment, documentation, training, and maintenance.
• Utilize programming languages (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP), frameworks (Bootstrap), configuration management (Drupal), methodologies (Agile), and operating systems (Linux).
• Maintain high availability and security of production websites, ensuring content accuracy, timely issue resolution, and continuous technology upgrades/patches.
• Lead or contribute to web project teams, applying industry best practices in software development, project management, configuration management, and security.
• *Requirements:**
• One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 level in the federal or private sector.
• Proven experience in:

* Formulating and implementing solutions for large public websites with advanced web technologies and security standards. * Designing user-centric front-end interfaces and information architecture, adhering to usability and Section 508 accessibility. * Full SDLC management for large websites, leveraging various programming languages, frameworks, and methodologies. * Maintaining high-availability production websites, including security and content management. * Leading or participating in web project teams following industry best practices.
