Job Description

Summary

Seeking a GS-13 Industrial Hygienist to manage health/safety programs, conduct inspections, and report on hazardous exposures.

Join our team as an Industrial Hygienist, ensuring workplace health and safety. Candidates must meet OPM's GS-13 qualification requirements, including 52 weeks of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level in federal service.

  • *Key Responsibilities and Required Experience:**

Applicants must demonstrate proficiency in at least four of the following areas:

  • Performing field inspections and participating in accident investigations involving hazardous substances within controlled facilities.
  • Planning and managing programs for hazardous building materials, indoor air quality, exposure assessments, and medical surveillance.
  • Developing detailed reports based on data analysis and predicting potential health impacts of occupational exposures.
  • Administering industrial hygiene training initiatives and facilitating knowledge exchange among health-focused organizations.
  • Serving as a Contracting Officer's Technical Representative (COTR) or equivalent, ensuring thorough oversight of contractor performance.
