Summary
Expertly advise management on federal employee and labor relations, including disciplinary actions, grievances, and performance management.
The Human Resources Specialist (Employee & Labor Relations) advises management on complex employee and labor relations matters.
- *Key Responsibilities:**
- Provide expert guidance on sensitive federal employee disciplinary and adverse actions.
- Advise management on intricate federal grievance procedures and master labor agreements.
- Consult on various performance issues and assist with developing performance plans.
- Mentor and support lower-graded specialists in federal employee and labor relations work.
- *Requirements:**
- One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level (or comparable experience in the private or military sector).
- Experience must demonstrate competency in:
- Must meet all federal eligibility requirements, including time-in-grade where applicable.
- Creditable experience includes both paid and qualifying volunteer work.
