Summary
Federal HR professionals needed for GS-12/13 roles; apply HR laws, manage projects, communicate solutions, and provide training.
We are seeking skilled Human Resources professionals for GS-12 and GS-13 positions to contribute to strategic Federal HR solutions. These roles involve applying HR laws, managing projects, communicating complex issues, and delivering training.
- *Key Responsibilities & Required Experience:**
- *For GS-13:** Requires one year (52 weeks) of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level, which MUST include:
- Applying technical knowledge of HR laws, regulations, policies, and best practices to develop and implement effective, legally defensible strategic HR solutions.
- Managing HR-related projects, encompassing plan development, scope monitoring, budget adherence, timeline management, and resource allocation.
- Communicating complex HR issues and recommended solutions to diverse stakeholders (e.g., HR professionals, leadership, IT, employees) with varying technical expertise.
- Providing comprehensive training and/or consulting on Federal human resources functions.
- *For GS-12:** Requires one year (52 weeks) of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 level, which MUST include:
- Assisting in applying HR laws, regulations, policies, and business practices to support the development and implementation of effective and compliant HR solutions.
- Assisting with HR project management activities, such as contributing to project plans, tracking progress, and ensuring deliverables remain on schedule, within scope, and properly resourced.
- Preparing and delivering information on HR-related issues and recommended solutions to diverse stakeholders (e.g., HR professionals, leadership, IT, employees).
- Assisting in providing training and/or guidance on Federal human resources functions.
- *General Requirements:**
- **Time-in-Grade:** Merit promotion applicants must meet federal time-in-grade requirements (one year at GS-11 for GS-12, one year at GS-12 for GS-13).
- **Eligibility:** All qualification and eligibility requirements must be met within 30 days of the announcement's closing date.
- **Experience:** Both paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work (e.g., National Service programs), will be credited towards qualifying experience.
