Health Science Officer

Lead and manage health systems research focused on developing and testing innovative health information and virtual care solutions to enhance healthcare access and outcomes, particularly for Veterans.

• *Key Responsibilities:**
• Direct a broad portfolio of health systems research programs.
• Identify scientific knowledge gaps through comprehensive literature reviews.
• Provide expert guidance to investigators on research proposals and review processes.
• Coordinate and conduct program review meetings, including logistical oversight.
• Ensure accurate, consistent, and timely documentation and reporting for all portfolio activities.
• Manage and update program databases and files.
• *Requirements:**
• **Education:** Bachelor's or advanced degree in a medical, health sciences, or allied sciences field from an accredited institution. (Transcript submission required).
• **Experience:** One year of specialized, senior-level experience directing or conducting health systems research programs, specifically focused on:

* Developing and testing innovations in health information and virtual healthcare modalities. * Improving healthcare access and outcomes for patients.
