Job Description
Summary
Lead health systems research developing innovative virtual care and health information solutions to improve patient outcomes.
Lead and manage health systems research focused on developing and testing innovative health information and virtual care solutions to enhance healthcare access and outcomes, particularly for Veterans.
- *Key Responsibilities:**
- Direct a broad portfolio of health systems research programs.
- Identify scientific knowledge gaps through comprehensive literature reviews.
- Provide expert guidance to investigators on research proposals and review processes.
- Coordinate and conduct program review meetings, including logistical oversight.
- Ensure accurate, consistent, and timely documentation and reporting for all portfolio activities.
- Manage and update program databases and files.
- *Requirements:**
- **Education:** Bachelor's or advanced degree in a medical, health sciences, or allied sciences field from an accredited institution. (Transcript submission required).
- **Experience:** One year of specialized, senior-level experience directing or conducting health systems research programs, specifically focused on:
- **Competencies:** Demonstrated proficiency in Analysis and Problem Solving, Communications, Project Management, and Research.
