We are seeking skilled professionals to manage federal grants and investments, ensuring compliance with regulations and strategic financial oversight. This role supports critical programs by overseeing the full lifecycle of funding agreements.

  • *Key Responsibilities (Vary by Grade Level):**
  • Assisting with or managing pre and post-award processes for grants and investments.
  • Assessing projects for compliance with federal regulations, guidance, policies, and procedures.
  • Negotiating grant agreements, including legal, funding, and authority aspects, with staff and community partners.
  • Developing and recommending investment strategies.
  • Performing financial and administrative analyses.
  • *Qualification Requirements:**
Applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level in the Federal Service, or relevant education as detailed below. Specialized experience equips candidates with the competencies, knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the position's duties. This includes paid, unpaid, or volunteer experience.

  • *GS-9 Level Qualifications:**
  • **Specialized Experience:** One full year (52 weeks) equivalent to the GS-07 level, specifically assisting with grant applications or investments and assessing projects for compliance with federal regulations.
  • **Education Substitution:** Master's or equivalent graduate degree (e.g., LL.B., J.D.) in a directly related course of study, or a combination of education and experience.
  • *GS-11 Level Qualifications:**
  • **Specialized Experience:** One full year (52 weeks) equivalent to the GS-09 level, specifically managing pre and post-award processes for grants or investments, assessing project compliance, and negotiating grant agreements with staff or community partners.
  • **Education Substitution:** Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree, or 3 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree, OR LL.M. (if related), or a combination of education and experience.
  • *GS-12 Level Qualifications:**
  • **Specialized Experience:** One full year (52 weeks) equivalent to the GS-11 level, specifically managing pre and post-award processes for grants and investments, assessing project compliance, negotiating grant agreements, developing and recommending investment strategies, and performing financial and administrative analyses.
  • **Education Substitution:** No education substitution is available at the GS-12 level or higher.
