## Privacy and FOIA Program Manager (GS-12 Equivalent)
We are seeking a highly skilled Privacy and Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) professional to manage and ensure compliance for comprehensive privacy programs. This role involves developing policies, processing information requests, and advising on privacy matters within a federal environment.
### Key Responsibilities:
- Manage Privacy and FOIA programs, ensuring regulatory compliance and developing comprehensive policies and guidelines.
- Process complex information release requests under various authorities, applying appropriate exemptions and redactions.
- Conduct required reviews and duties related to new or updated contract security checklists, Privacy Threshold Analyses (PTA), and Privacy Impact Assessments (PIA).
- Provide expert advice and conduct training on federal privacy statutes (e.g., Privacy Act, HIPAA, FOIA) and VA/VHA directives.
- Investigate privacy complaints and incidents, serving as a liaison on privacy issues with Information System Security Officers and other program Privacy Officers.
- **Experience:** One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 level in the federal service, demonstrating expertise in a majority of the responsibilities listed above. This includes experience in:
- **Competencies:** Demonstrated proficiency in Technical Competence, Communication, Problem Solving, and Web Technology.
- **Federal Applicants:** Current federal employees must meet time-in-grade requirements, typically 52 weeks at the GS-11 grade level.
