General Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Professional Engineer to manage complex engineering programs, provide expert consultation, and drive critical technical solutions.

• *Responsibilities:**
• Serve as a consultant on equipment and systems development, acquisition, and integration.
• Manage comprehensive budget plans for diverse program areas, evaluating costs and risks associated with complex equipment and software.
• Independently identify, develop, and implement recommendations and solutions for technical problems and potential outcomes.
• Oversee all technical efforts, ensuring reliability and accuracy in engineering processes, methods, design requirements, and standards.
• Provide expert technical and professional guidance to senior management and engineers on critical or unusual problems impacting programs.
• *Requirements:**
• Minimum one year of specialized experience at a level equivalent to GS-11/NH-02 in Federal service, or comparable experience in the private or public sector.
• Demonstrated experience in equipment/systems development, budget planning, risk assessment, and technical program management.
• Proven ability to manage technical efforts, ensuring reliability and accuracy.
• Strong independent problem-solving skills and the ability to implement solutions effectively.
• Capacity to provide high-level technical advice and guidance.
