## Technology Commercialization Program Specialist/Manager

We are seeking a dynamic professional to drive technology commercialization and lab-to-market initiatives. This role involves developing and managing innovative funding programs and strategic partnerships to transition cutting-edge research into practical applications.

### Key Responsibilities:

  • **Program Design & Execution:** Design, implement, and execute technology commercialization and lab-to-market funding programs for startups, small businesses, incubators, and researchers.
  • **Partnership Development:** Support or lead the development and management of innovative partnership mechanisms (e.g., partnership intermediary agreements, prize authority, other transactions).
  • **Leadership Briefings:** Prepare and deliver (GS-13: support development of; GS-14: brief directly) program proposals, impact analyses, and outcome reports to senior leadership.
  • **Cross-Functional Collaboration:** Work on or lead initiatives involving multiple program office collaborations for jointly funded programs, shared missions, or cross-cutting initiatives.
### Qualifications: Candidates must meet the Basic Education Requirement and possess specialized experience as outlined below. Volunteer experience is recognized and counts towards qualifications.

  • **For GS-13 Level:**
* One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level in the Federal service. * This experience must include meeting **two of the three** following areas: 1. Directly supporting and conducting the design, implementation, and execution of technology commercialization and lab-to-market funding programs or innovative partnership mechanisms. 2. Supporting the development of briefing materials for leadership on funding program proposals, impacts, and outcomes. 3. Working on initiatives involving multiple Program Office collaborations for jointly funded programs or cross-cutting initiatives.

  • **For GS-14 Level:**
* One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 level in the Federal service. * This experience must include meeting **two of the three** following areas: 1. Leading teams to conduct the design, implementation, and execution of technology commercialization and lab-to-market funding programs or innovative partnership mechanisms. 2. Briefing Program Office leadership directly on funding program proposals, impacts, and outcomes. 3. Identifying opportunities for and developing multiple Program Office collaborations for jointly funded programs or cross-cutting initiatives.
