General Attorney

We are seeking a highly motivated Attorney to join our team. This role involves performing legal analysis, drafting pleadings, briefs, and other court documents in a dynamic environment.

• *Key Responsibilities:**
• Conduct legal analysis and research.
• Compose pleadings, briefs, and other court documents.
• Manage multiple assignments and meet short deadlines.
• Produce reliable, well-supported outcomes in a high-volume setting.
• *Requirements:**
• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree or equivalent.
• Active license to practice law in any U.S. state, territory, or the District of Columbia.
• Active member of the bar in good standing.
• *Experience Levels:**
• **GS-11:** Up to one (1) year of post-J.D. legal experience.
• **GS-12:** One (1) or more years of post-J.D. legal experience, including at least one year of specialized experience (e.g., legal analysis, drafting court documents) at a level equivalent to GS-11.
• *Preferred Qualifications:**
• Experience or interest in administrative law, workers' compensation systems, or benefits administration.
• *Additional Information:**
• This position requires a mandatory 2-year trial period during which your performance and suitability for continued federal employment will be evaluated.
