Job Description
Experienced attorney sought to provide legal counsel, conduct investigations, and draft legal documents for a federal government role.
We are seeking a highly qualified Attorney to join our team. This role requires a dedicated legal professional to perform diverse legal duties, including conducting investigations, providing legal advice, and preparing detailed reports.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Conduct legal research and analyze statutes.
* Draft authoritative legal opinions interpreting state or federal laws, regulations, and orders.
* Prepare, analyze, and review legal documents such as bills, regulations, and Executive Orders.
* Conduct investigations, provide legal advice on investigative matters, and/or prepare/review investigation reports.
**Qualifications:**
* Active member in good standing of the bar of a U.S. state, territory, or the District of Columbia.
* Hold a current, unrestricted license to practice law.
* Four (4) years of progressively responsible legal experience. Up to one year of this experience may be gained prior to bar admission.
* Experience should include private, state, or federal practice, or other responsible legal work such as conducting research, writing legal opinions, or drafting legal instruments.
* Demonstrated experience in conducting investigations, providing legal advice on investigations, or preparing/reviewing reports of investigation.
